Melanie Fried-Oken, PhD, of the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (RERC AAC), was interviewed on the AT Update podcast. Dr. Fried-Oken discussed advances in AAC and brain computer interface (BCI) technologies that assist people with degenerative communication disorders such as aphasia and ALS.
