DIYAbility is hosting Summer workshops for teens with physical disabilities and their siblings to tinker with creative technology and Make their World.
Using appropriate assistive technology anyone can access a computer and with that computer they can write a program to control home, design a website, make a 3D model that can be physically printed out. The opportunities are endless!
Making the Future workshops in June, July and August will cover:
Digital fabrication tools, 3D printing and CNC design.
The workshops are designed for teens with physical disabilities and their siblings who are curious about making things and using new technology. Using readily available materials and kits the Makers will tinker, test and take home their projects.
